Lithuania bans flavored e-cigarettes

Lithuania will ban the sale of flavored e-cigarettes and e-liquid cartridges starting in July, while tobacco flavors will remain legal, according to the LRT .

On January 18, Lithuanian legislators passed amendments to the Law on the Control of Tobacco, Tobacco Products and Related Products with 92 votes in favor, 9 against, and 9 abstentions.

Currently, Lithuania has banned e-cigarettes and e-liquid cartridges containing vitamins and other additives that give the impression that they are beneficial or less harmful to health.

At the same time, the country has also banned the import of e-cigarettes and e-liquid pods that contain caffeine and other stimulant compounds related to energy or vitality.
